​Georgia Senior Golfers Association - Eligible men age 55 and older. A non-profit organization which has provided memorable golfing experiences for country club members since 1968. It has 8-10 tournaments per year in quality clubs and resorts nationally, internationally as well as within Georgia. More than a dozen Berkeley seniors are members. The Southern Seniors Golf Association. One additional opportunity for seniors is an organization called the Southern Seniors Golf Association. Look them up at: www.southernseniorsgolf.com. It is similar to the Georgia Seniors but has been around since 1939. The remaining schedule for this year is on their web site and they are going to places like Greenbrier, Streamsong, Pinehurst, and Sea Island. The Georgia State Golf Association. Available to all Georgia golfers including seniors. All Berkeley members enrolled in the handicap system are members of this organization. We encourage you to go on line at www.gsga.org and click the Competition icon to review the tournaments scheduled for this year. These tournaments are well run and a delight to participate in. Again this year the GSGA is sponsoring "Play Days" at clubs all over Georgia. Check it out on their website for senior events scheduled this year.
